Angsana offers an escape from the congested hotels in Penang. While it takes time to get to the city, Angsana offers a quiet and safe environment to chill.
Service at the hotel can be improved. Breakfast is good with a wide selection. It is packed at peak hours and one has to come early to enjoy the wide range of western, Indian, Malay and Chinese cuisines. Staff is very friendly and helpful. It worth a stay in the resort.

Location quite far off from any eateries. Understandable why it's not near the city centre but the beach is not quite out of satisfaction. And lack of activities. However kudos to the hospitality and customer service.

I booked this room for my elderly parents. They love the hotel but only thing is they have to be extra careful in the toilet area as the beautiful and premium looking granite floor tiles can be slippery. They love the sea view and the amenities. They particularly enjoyed the morning breakfast and the floor manager recognises them and always direct them to their regular table, which is near to the toilet. They commended this is the most relaxing Penang trip they’ve ever had, with very thoughtful housekeeping that comes twice in a day to ensure they’re comfortable.

Hotel was great and clean. Our room had issue with the light. Had to wait for awhile for the technician to come by. Otherwise all is good.
